The Old Grange, 2 Church St, Hampton, TW12 2EG

The Old Grange is a grade 2 listed building bought by my clients about 3 years ago. The house was in a poor state of repair throughout.

The client employed The House Detectives to prepare a report on the house and its history. This they did as it was very helpful during negotiations with the planner and conservation architect (Nicholas Duckham). My job was as a conservation consultant, adviser and architect.

In summary we have so far:

Provided a new boiler room and new heating to all parts of the house
Re-roofed all the roof coverings
Replaced/ repaired all windows
Restored and converted the rear room into a new kitchen by working alongside the designer, Blanc
We have obtained permission for a new external gate entrance and wall repairs
We have planned for a new master bedroom and en-suite bathroom
