Listed building restoration
A general practice
House in Richmond
This is a grade 1 listed house. It was purchased by my clients just over two years ago. They spend most of their time in America.
We obtained listing building consent for a series of repairs and preliminary works. These have been progressing continuously since permission was granted, this includes:
- Roofing repairs and replacement lead gutters and lead flashings et al
- Electrical re-wiring
- Repairs and replacements of all windows (there are a lot of them)
- Restoring all wooden floors
- Redecorations throughout (initial advice given by Patrick Baty)
Once the house is in a condition for permanent occupation the clients will consider structural repairs, re-pointing and re-rendering.
Maids of Honour Row is an example of the restoration projects we undertake for clients in the UK. To find out more about such restoration work, call us on
